Fall Ball is structured differently than our spring season. Team formation depends not only on the number of players who register, but also on the number of teams available from neighboring leagues throughout District 1. Because of this, we will not know which divisions will be offered, or how many teams can be formed in each division, until registration has closed and district-wide participation numbers have been finalized.
During registration, you will be asked whether your player would be willing to play in an adjacent division (either up or down) if they are age-eligible. This information helps us maximize opportunities for players to participate and helps us form viable teams when registration numbers are limited. Any potential division change would always be discussed with and approved by parents before being finalized.
Please understand that we cannot guarantee a team will be available in every division. Even if enough players register for a particular division, we may not be able to form a team if there are not enough teams from other leagues to create a playable schedule. Our goal is to provide as many playing opportunities as possible while ensuring teams have meaningful competition throughout the season.
Fall Ball may also involve additional travel compared to the spring season, as teams often play opponents from a wider geographic area. Additionally, Fall Ball is a shorter season, which typically means teams will play more games per week than during the spring season.
We encourage families to help spread the word about Fall Ball. The more players who register across our league and neighboring leagues, the more opportunities there are to offer teams and divisions for all participants.
As always, our priority is to accommodate as many players as possible and provide a positive Fall Ball experience for every family.
